Malaysia, in the morning 16 Jun 2011 (14 Rejab 1432H): I know many people sleep last night or early morning. There are people went for a lunar eclipse prayers in mosque.

SALAT AL-KASOOF
The Solar and Lunar Eclipse Prayer

* The scholars agree that the prayer of the eclipses is a sunnah mu'akkadah (a stressed sunnah), which is to be performed by both men and women.

* Manners of Performing Salatul Kasoof

o It is best to pray it in congregation although the congregation is not a condition for it.
o The majority of the scholars hold that it is to consist of two rak'at and that in every rak'ah one is to perform two bowings (ruku') instead of the customary one.
o The reciting of al-Fatihah is obligatory in each rak'ah, and one may recite whatever one wishes to, after Al-Fatihah. It is allowed to make the recital audible or silent.



* Aishah narrates: "There was a solar eclipse during the time of the Prophet and the Prophet went to the mosque, and he stood and made the takbir, and he put the people in rows behind him, and he made a lengthy recital during the salah. Next, he made the takbir and made a long ruku', but it was not as long as the recital. Following that, he raised his head, saying: 'Allah hears him who praises Him. And to You, our Lord, belongs the praise.' Afterward, he stood and made another long recital but it was shorter than the first one. Again, he made the takbir and made a ruku' that was shorter than the first one. Then, again he said: 'Allah hears him who praises Him. And to You, our Lord, belongs the praise.' After this, he prostrated. He did the same in the next rak'ah and finished four ruku' and four sujjud. The sun appeared again before he finished. Finally, he stood and addressed the people and praised Allah as He deserves it and said: 'The sun and the moon are two signs from among Allah's signs and there is no eclipse due to someone's death or life. If you see them occurring, hurry to pray.'" (Bukhari and Muslim)


* Ibn 'Abbas said: "There was a solar eclipse during the life time of the Prophet and he prayed with a long standing, similar to what it takes to recite al-Baqarah. Then, he made a long ruku'. After which, he stood and made another long recital but shorter than the first one. Again he went into ruku', but for a shorter time than in the first one. Following this, he made sajdah [twice]. Next he made another long standing (qiyam) which was also not as long as the first. After that, he made another lengthy ruku' but it was not as long as the first one. Again, he made another long qiyam [and recital] but it was not as long as the first one. After which, he made another lengthy ruku' but it was not as long as the previous one. Following this, he went into sajdah [and so on]. When he had finished, the sun had appeared. He concluded his prayer and said: 'The sun and the moon are two signs from the signs of Allah, and there is no eclipse due to the death or life of anyone. If you see it, make remembrance of Allah.‘” (Bukhari and Muslim)

* The time for al-Kasoof is from the beginning of the eclipse until the eclipse

Inilah kebesaran Allah SWT yang mesti kita diam sesaat memikirkan seperti sabda Rasulullah SAW : Sesungguhnya matahari dan bulan adalah tanda dari tanda-tanda kebesaran Allah. Kedua-duanya tidak gerhana disebabkan matinya seseorang atau disebabkan lahirnya. Tetapi kedua-duanya merupakan dua tanda dari tanda-tanda kebesaran Allah menakutkan hamba-hambanya. Apabila engkau melihat perkara tersebut hendaklah engkau solat dan berdoa sehingga gerhana itu hilang pada padangan“. (HR. Bukhari dari Abi Barkah).

***Perbatasan Dua Lautan***

Kejadian luar biasa perbatasan dua lautan yang amat jarang sekali terlihat oleh manusia. Ini bukan perkara biasa yang berlaku kat muara sungai di mana air masin dan tawar bertemu. Ini terjadi di tengah-tengah lautan di Alaska. Tetapi ini hanya merupakan salah satu dari bukti kekuasan Allah yang tak terjumlah banyaknya.

"I thought this merging oceans or ocean borders was the most unusual thing I saw on the Alaskan cruise in the water. These two bodies of water were merging in the middle of the Alaskan gulf and there was a foam developing only at their junction. I thought this was an example of a Halocline, which is a cline caused by a strong, vertical salinity gradient within a body of water. However, a few people have commented that a Halocline is more of a horizontal phenomenon and this is more vertically oriented. I am pretty confident that what you are seeing is a result of the melting glaciers being composed of fresh water and the ocean has a higher percentage of salt causing the two bodies of water to have different densities and therefore makes it more difficult to mix. I’m told they will eventually mix given enough time. Anyway, whatever it is, the merging oceans surely an amazing nature event."

"Awan Hujan Panas Yang Jelas lagi Indah"

Mungkin ramai yang tertanya-tanya, bagaimanakah hujan boleh turun? Bagaimanakah juga air hujan boleh sampai ke atas? Kenapa ada masanya dekat tempat A hujan, tempat B tak hujan, tempat C hujan, tempat D hujan, walaupun tempat-tempat ini tidak lah jauh antara satu sama lain.
Kenapa ada hujan lebat dan hujan renyai-renyai? Bagaimana terjadinya kejadian hujan panas? Inilah antara persoalan-persoalan yang banyak sekali di tanya oleh si kecil yang mempunyai semangat ingin tahu yang tinggi. Lihat la alam sekeliling kita. Sungguh banyak sekali bukti-bukti kejadian Allahn di alam yang terbentang luas ini, yang sudah menjadi fitrah bagi manusia yang suci hatinya, dapat menambahkan iman dan keyakinan kepada Allah yang Maha Esa.


Gambar keajaiban di atas menunjukkan jawapan kepada kebanyakkan soalan-soalan di permulaan entri. Gambar tersebut merupakan awan hujan yang sedang mencurahkan air di satu kawasan, menumpahkan rezeki dan keberkatan kepada manusia, dan perlu diingat, kejadian hanya akan terjadi dengan perintah Allah. Allah la yang mentadbir dunia ini, dalam al Quran ada mengatakan, Allah la pemilik dan pentadbir di langit dan di bumi dan yang ada di antara keduanya

Mungkin ramai juga tertanya, bagaimanakah hujan panas terjadi? Lihat gambar di atas, yang mungkin dirakam di saat terjadinya hujan panas. Di sebalik awan tebal itu merupakan pancaran sinar mentari yang panas dari daerah lain yang tidak mempunyai hujan. Inilah yang terjadi saat terjadinya hujan panas. Kita di bawah tidak nampak perkara ini seperti mana yang dilihat insan yang beruntung di atas kapal terbang ini. Sungguh indah alam ciptaan Allah ni kan?

Kesimpulannya, tambahkan lah iman kita, kuatkan lah iman kita dengan banyak berfikir tentang kejadian-kejadian alam ini. Semoga kita mendapat rahmat dan berkat. InsyaAllah.
